What are the sensitive lines of spectral elements?

Each element is excited with a suitable light source and can emit a spectrum to produce characteristic spectral lines. The characteristic spectral lines of each element have a fixed wavelength. In general, these lines are not affected by physical states and chemical elements.

When the content of an element in the sample gradually decreases, the intensity of the element's spectral line in the spectrum will correspondingly weaken, and the number of observable spectral lines will also decrease. When the element content drops to a certain level, most of the spectral lines of the element disappear in the spectrum, leaving only one or a few spectral lines. When the element content is further reduced, these spectral lines finally disappear. These spectral lines should be called the element's last line, and most of the resonance lines belong to the last line.
