What do the parameters of the direct reading spectrometer stand for, and what do they mean, let's take a look at these parameters together.
1. Wavelength range  
波长范围是决定光栅型号的首先要考虑的重要参数。 When selecting the optimal configuration for a spectrometer system, the wavelength range is the first important parameter to consider when determining the grating model. 600 线 / 毫米的光栅(请看光谱仪产品一节中的光栅选择表)。 If you need a wider wavelength range, we recommend that you use a 600 line / mm grating (please see the grating selection table in the spectrometer product section). Another important component is the choice of detector.

2. Optical resolution
,我们建议您选择 1200 线 / 毫米或者更高线对数的光栅,同时选择窄狭缝和 2048 3648 像素的 CCD 探测器。 If you need a high optical resolution , we recommend that you choose a grating with 1200 lines / mm or higher, and choose a CCD detector with a narrow slit and 2048 or 3648 pixels . ST4000 光谱仪,可以选择 10um 狭缝来获得最佳分辨率。 For example, for the ST4000 spectrometer, a 10um slit can be selected to obtain the best resolution.

3. Sensitivity  
,重要的是要区分开是光度学中的灵敏度(光谱仪所能探测到的最小信号强度是多少?)还是化学计量学中的灵敏度(光谱仪能够测量到的最小吸收率差)。 Speaking of sensitivity , it is important to distinguish between sensitivity in photometry (what is the minimum signal strength that the spectrometer can detect?) Or sensitivity in chemometrics (the smallest difference in absorbance that the spectrometer can measure).
4. Measuring time and data transmission speed  
The data acquisition capability of the spectrometer can be greatly improved by using array detectors and without using moving components. However, there are optimized detectors for each specific application. For applications that require quick response, we recommend the CX-9800 spectrometer, which is the most versatile spectrometer so far.
